Angie is a dedicated trauma-informed counsellor with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care and multiple diplomas in healthcare, social work, and counselling. Her professional journey is profoundly informed by her personal experiences, including her resilience in overcoming ovarian cancer, navigating a challenging high-control religious upbringing, and enduring a 20 year abusive marriage. This unique perspective enables Angie to offer deep empathy and insight in her practice.
She specialized in providing mid-range psychotherapy for women who are on their healing journey from childhood abuse, sexual assault, and interpersonal violence. In addition to counselling work, Angie is actively engaged in education and advocacy efforts to raise awareness and support those affected by violence.
